I have spent so long wishing to be something else

Something beautiful

The person you call home

A woman that stops time when you look at her 

The grossly romantic expression of desire 

I wish to be the one who takes all suffering away from you 

The person that isn’t just good enough, but exceeds expectations

A woman that is created by more than pain 

I won’t crack under the weight of your wants 

Be selfish, please

For it is all I know

Follow the unwritten rules

Keep your legs crossed when you sit

Make sure you have good manners

Be a real woman

No sex before marriage 

Church every Sunday and Wednesday

Fear god 

Smile with your teeth, but not too much

Never eat anything that will make you fat 

Punish yourself for the rest of your life 

Wear contacts because your glasses are ugly 

Starve yourself for sport 

See how far things can go 

Allow men to take advantage of you 

Be ashamed of who you are
